In 2016, I was invited to contribute to the inaugural Manual Project at Triumph School, an artist-led initiative in a former schoolhouse in Triumph, Illinois. Conceived as a place for collective making and learning, the school brought people together to interpret and carry out artists’ instructions without their authors present.
