Bounding, 2026
A live web work following sunrise and sunset in real time.
I've been working out an idea like this for about ten years. It started as a circle of monitors around a room, live webcam feeds carrying the light from one to the next.
It’s paired down to just the fact of it: the sun is rising somewhere right now and it is setting... and I think this works better.
Something about recognizing these moments slowly circling settles me. I can't help but picture the place: the sounds, the air on skin, dust in hair, a sidelong glance. The regularity of it.
